A much better vid than the last one, but some of the shots are still baffling. I didn't mind too much when he was just talking...but why not just leave the camera in front of him? Why the constant switch to the side angle? And then when he did start playing, why would they keep showing us his hand on the mouse? I'm pretty sure we see him playing the game.

Can't wait for the final game. I was surprised to find I spent 5.5 hours on the demo.

At least you could halfway follow what was going on during this video.

Those Polish cavalry looked badass with the wings on their backs. What the hell is that shit?

The Polish cavalry were one of the most feared military units of the period. When you kick that much ass, you get snazzy uniforms.

The Polish cavalry in the 16th and 17th century rode into battle with feathered wings on their back. The sound instilled terror in the enemy, and many simply ran from it. Jan's division took those wings as their emblem.

I was discussing this w/ my Polish co-worker today. He recommended this:

Apparently these guys were very awesome in the 17th century, when muskets were less accurate, took longer to fire, and had far shorter range. By the time the Napoleonic wars came around they could fire more quickly and start shooting down horses sooner, so they massed cavalry worked less effectively.

He said the game won't be entirely accurate, as they weren't really in use by the late time of Empire (at least when they come into play).

          Still...totally awesome.
