        i can't say i'm a fan, but it's interesting to watch the spread. it's a text-message type service. you can find out what other people are thinking without having to read long winded "25 things about me" bullshit, and then type back quick responses if you like.
        
        also, it's an RSS feed for stupid people. you can have breaking news, woot, pretty much any other service you like. and it updates you, so if you deem it important, there it is, in your twitter. for people who don't understand or want to use RSS feeds.
