World in Conflict Soviet Assault Trailer: Fuel Air Bomb

This slick CG trailer for the upcoming World in Conflict expansion Soviet Assault shows the same battle from three different perspectives--all ending in a pretty impressive boom.

The expansion to the excellent RTS will allow players to tackle the game from the Soviet perspective. The title will also include six new single player missions and eight new multiplayer maps.

Soviet Assault is set for a March 2009 release on PC.

Last I heard, the studio was shut down and the expansion canceled. I was sad. Now I read the expansion is done?! Yes! But it''s shoddy? Damn it.

Did a different studio finish it or something?

I just read the review of this in the new PCGamer and I was surprised. It got a 62%. Apparently it has only 6 new missions but here is the kicker. In order to access the new missions you have to play through the original campaign again because that is where they are inserted. It does include 8 new MP maps(or could they be the already released downloadable ones?) but damn I am disappointed.
