EVE Online Retail Box Includes 60 Days of Game Time

10
Developer CCP has revealed the contents of the upcoming EVE Online (PC) retail release, set for launch on March 10.

The box will conveniently include all ten of the free expansions to the spaceship MMO, including the major upcoming update "Apocrypha." In addition, the box will also ship with 60 days of free game time. As the by-month subscription to EVE costs $14.95, and the retail box costs $34.95, the thing will nearly pay for itself.

CCP also notes that the game time can be used to extend an existing subscription, or be split into two 30-day codes that can be sold for in-game currency. Only in EVE.

A few more retail bonuses after the break:

  • INSTANT WAR ACCESS: This certificate allows rapid access to organized combat (through increased standings), helping new players get into the action quickly.
  • EXCLUSIVE CAREER GUIDE: Accessed via the website to allow for dynamic updates, the guide includes insider tips and tricks.
  • VIP PASS: Use this card to invite a friend to try the game for 21 days. When that friend becomes an EVE Online subscriber, you will get an additional 30 days of free game time.
  • EXCLUSIVE IN-GAME SHIP: An exclusive new ship, the Interbus Shuttle, will allow players to fly in style with an increased capacity cargo hold to ferry those extra crucial items at high speeds.

Figures, I just subscribed to the game after an 11 month break from Trial.

Guess I will pick this up to get those items( For S&Gs ) and some quick ISK when I sell those 30-day codes( or use them myself! )

Only makes sense to pay a couple extra dollars, assuming the ship is going to be limited.....and they have a habit of doing that. :)

Are there any limitation on the Trial version?

I have been itching to try this game out , for quite some time now, I'm just scared its going to suck my entire life away. This release is really not helping either..... lol

Quite a few limitations from what i saw last time i played the trial, think you're only allowed to use a few ships, cannot trade isk, and a few other things.

might be getting this, the price is a steal

You can download the game for free and play it for two weeks. There are certain skills that you are not allowed to train because people in the past were taking advantage of the free game play.

This isn't a trial, this is a full 2 months subscription with no limitations
