MLB 2K9 Demo Hits Xbox Live
by Chris Faylor, Feb 24, 2009 7:43am PSTA downloadable demo for Visual Concepts' MLB 2K9 is now available for Xbox 360 owners, offering a chance to try out the various improvements and offline multiplayer.
The demo allows players to assume control of the Tampa Bay Rays or Philadelphia Phillies at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park for up to three full innings. At present, the download is restricted to Xbox Live Gold subscribers, but will open to Silver eventually.
The full version of MLB 2K9 hits retailers in exaclty one week, March 3, in PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii form. The Nintendo DS release, MLB 2K9 Fantasy All Stars, hits the same day, with a PSP edition currently slated to follow on March 31.
