Monday, Monday, Monday! Monday!

That's ...all I've got. And I've been staring at the little flashing bar for a good ten minutes. I'd love to say it's because I was up too late playing Dawn of War II, but the sad truth is I spent most of yesterday cleaning the apartment and doing laundry. Hey, it's life.

Then I got around to watching last week's episode of Dollhouse, which I'm only watching out of some bizarre obligation I feel towards Joss Whedon. The actual show still isn't doing much for me, but the guest stars make me think of happier times, other shows they've been in that I enjoyed more, like Battlestar Galactica, Angel, and The Middleman.

im buying GTA4 for the PC today. i feel a little dirty since i got 100% on the xbox version

        yeah thats another reason why i feel dirty. replaying some of the missions i had a lot of fun :(

        -has to be a traveling vendor
        -has to be a low quality weapon or piece of armor
        -i THINK there has to be more than 1 of that piece (but ive had it work without multiple)
        
        buy said item, SOMETIMES when you get the item youll be able to sell it back to him for just a little more than what you bought it for. if that happens just sell it and then buy the piece again and it will be full quality. sell the item back to the vendor for 10x what you bought it for. BUT it will go back to the vendor as the original poor quality item so yada yada yada get what you want, get all his money

        Xfire works, and there's a freeware app called taksi but it hasn't been updated in a long long time, most likely abandoned.

        yeah that's generally my method of unloading stuff.. but i mean there's another way to get infinite money you keep collecting ammo, weapons, and armor from raiders/regulators/enclave/talon/super mutants!

        like i said i was already getting a little tired from the game because i was about at the 50 hour mark in my game. ill come back to it no doubt, i actually had to fish around in my post history to get what for how to do the exploit because it has been so long

  I bought it too, just for the mods and to see how it scales on PC as I keep upgrading. Oh, and it was cheap at £10

    ive heard horrible things about that port :( if shit gets sorted out like they did with this game then i probably will. but most likely only if they have a video editor

  I have both. Now that the PC version is patched up a bit I'm very happy with the purchase. We should do MP or something!

  I've been "playing" it over the weekend. I had much much trouble trying to get the game to run without crashing.
  I've got a 280 SLI setup, and the auto detect settings were putting everything on high, but the game would constantly crash.
  There were no less than three different types of crashes. One was a "RES10 video card out of memory error". Another was just a random crash which seem to happen with player world collisions (either physics, or sounds, who knows). The third, the game would just slow down to 1/4 frames per seconds, and I would have to exit out.
  
  I ended up tweaking some shit here and there and setting everything to medium and was able to play without a crash.
  
  Oh, also SLI didn't seem to increase frame rates at all.

      I've got a quad core i7, and the benchmarks say it's only using 40% of my CPU.
      It still could be that; it's hard to say what the problem is without more tools to diagnose.

  Anyone up for a mutliplayers session this weekend?! Or a short session at night sometime during the week?
