The Chronicles of Riddick Trailer: Hunting Monsters

A new trailer for Starbreeze's The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena has emerged from publisher Atari, apparently setting up the game's new campaign.

An enhanced remake of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, which hit PC and Xbox way back in 2004, Dark Athena will deliver an entirely new campaign and multiplayer modes for the shooter when it arrives on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this spring.

I'm just... It's a five-year-old game, for fuck's sake! Why remake it? Why didn't they just, you know, make a NEW game instead? This is a free add-on if you buy the same game again, basically.

Riddick has always been a character with a lot of potential....the only place it was ever really realized was in the video game though...maybe a bit in Pitch Black too...but not anywhere near Butcher Bay..

This is much more interesting than that bit of FPS game play they showed off a couple weeks ago.

But the Melee combat has always been Riddick's strong point in the FPS genre.
