Rhythm Heaven Hitting DS in Early April

1
Nintendo's eclectic music mini-game compilation Rhythm Heaven (NDS) will arrive at United States retailers alongside the Nintendo DSi the hardware on Sunday, April 5.

Word of the release date was tucked away within today's Nintendo DSi announcement.

Having sold some 1.6 million copies since its Japanese debut last July, the game tasks players with keeping their rhythm across numerous musical mini-games, periodically combining all of the various stages into a delightful and surprisingly catchy tune.

Developed by the team that created the WarioWare series and its eccentric fast-paced mini-games, Heaven is the sequel to the Japan-only GBA release Rhythm Tengoku.

I played Rhythm Tengoku a bit. It's a riot. I'm looking forward to this one.
