The Total War series is one of the few things that, if I had the money, would help persuade me to update a graphic's card, etc. I only mean to say they are all good.

That was a tragic effort and I love TW.

Conceptually if you break any line in the square you drive through the line to engage the flank of the other sides of the square. When the square turns to engage the enemy within, it exposes its flanks; destroying the original intent of the defensive formation.

Pressing the advantage, exploiting the weakness in any strategy didn't seem any more difficult than roshambo.

Course its just one video, poorly presented. You're better than this Creative Ass.

Welll i didnt saw any squaer formation(in infranty) i just saw infrantry in line formation witch was atacked by few squads of cavalary atack was quick and sfift and he pulled back fast otherewise he would losse his squeds the Ai made mistake to advance on his positions

The infantry still moves at the same speed from the other games it seems. I remember seeing a post on the Rome Total War forums and someone calculated the speed of the foot soldiers to be around 20 miles per hour.

For a video to "show off" the enemy Ai and its "special tactics" - he did a grand job of making it look ridiculously easy of breaking down. Fair enough they do this fancy square thing, but no point saying how good it was if one cavalry charge seemingly makes it pointless :P
