Rumor: Nihilistic Developing 'Zombie Apocalypse' for XBLA, PSN
by Nick Breckon, Feb 17, 2009 11:57am PSTDeveloper Nihilistic, responsible for last year's beat-em-up Conan, is working on a new downloadable zombie-themed game, according to a Destructoid report citing sources and resumes.
The "arcade-style" game, said to be titled "Zombie Apocalypse," is supposedly being targeted for release on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The game will also feature some type of online support.
"Zombie Apocalypse may have gamers fighting to save survivors from zombie hordes over the course of several in-game days, using weapons like a chainsaw, as well as deadly environmental hazards," writes Destructoid.
Nihilistic programmer Mike Parsons lists work on an "arcade style downloadable zombie game" on his online resume, somewhat confirming the veracity of the report.
