Weekly PC Sales: World of Warcraft Keeps Reigning

Sales-tracking group NPD has chimed in with the latest PC software sales chart from United States retailers, covering the week of February 1 - 7.

Once again, there's not much change compared to the previous week, apart from some reshuffled positions and the replacement of Civilization IV by The Sims 2 Deluxe.

Left 4 Dead is just a time waster like Burnout - but highly popular and fun. I doubt its novelty will last much longer though.

As for WoW, I'd like to compare account ban statistics with sales.

Left 4 Dead is such a cash cow. It's still in the top ten *and* they must have sold a load on the steam weekend sale (which obviously isn't included).

Flogging a dead horse, but, I really, REALLY want to see sales figures for Steam :(
