Publisher Activision Blizzard will launch a total of three new intellectual properties in 2009, according to Activision publishing president Mike Griffith.

One of the new properties is Prototype (PC, PS3, X360), Radical's multi-platform, open-world action title slated for a June release. Griffith mentioned two additional properties during Activision's earnings call: one in the racing genre, and another in the first-person shooter.

The shooter was quickly revealed to be Raven Software's Singularity, in development for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. The racing title is the unannounced project from Project Gotham Racing developer Bizarre Creations.

Quick! We need new IP's! Get me some dramatic-looking screenshots and I'll make up the names! The names might generic and obvious, but I really like the ring of "unannounced racer." I know all the media will think that we just havnt found a name for it yet, but really its about a racer who always sneaks into races and wins them, and no one knows who to give the money to, so they give it to Obama to help fight global warming. Turns out at the end the "unannounced racer" is Mother Nature! No one will see it coming. We need a prototype of this game which will stand alone it its singularity! Ooh! I just found the names of the two "other" IPs!
