Morning Discussion
by Chris Faylor, Feb 09, 2009 7:30am PSTA new week has dawned, and this one promises bikini-clad zombie slayers.
As expected, my enjoyment of Burnout Paradise is significantly higher after the latest patch. Hooray for the option to restart an event, instead of driving halfway across the map to try again. I sat down to play for a few minutes and ended up losing a few hours.
However, this will put force me to make a difficult call later in the week. Car crashes or zombie killing? I honestly don't know if I'll be able to decide. Both sound so appealing.

More specifically a Matrox Millennium P690 PCIe 1x and an HD 3870 PCIe x16.
I installed the Matrox after the ATI card (which is my primary card for natural reasons), and Windows detected it, but after installing the drivers and stuff it can't start the device; it's marked as a problem device in the Device Manager ("Code 43").
The motherboard in my work computer (Dell XPS 420) only has one x16 port, and the choices for an x1 card are extremely few (a little better for nvidia). There's that FireMV card but it has DisplayPort outputs. I need my three monitors damnit!
