So, these wonderful costumes that enhance the remade SF2 game SOOOoooo greatly. Development time which could have been used for balancing/bug squashing/enhanced playmodes/extra scenes was, instead, put towards RETEXTURING SOME FUCKING CLOTHES? And now, even though this was done during the dev period of the game remake you want us to pay for AGAIN, you expect us to additionally subsidize your playing with doll clothes.

This just shows me where your head is at, Mr. GameDev. Have fun with your SF4 Costume Packs. I no longer have a need for such things; as I shall have no SF4 to DL them to.

If we get Chun Li's Alpha outfit...I'll buy that pack...always preferred that outfit (for the others, I'll use the traditional costumes).

I think I'll hold onto my money for this one. I'm fine playing SF with stock costumes. Been doing so for like 17 yrs. Plus I'm more into the fighting aspect and less into playing dress up, especially when it costs money.

PS. I don't have a problem with paying for DLC, but I'm an old school gamer and things like extra costumes and little bonus rooms used to be unlockables.

Has Capcom confirmed what exactly the DLC is included with the CE?

Is it one pack of costumes?

All five costume packs?

five single costumes? The game is like two weeks away so how about some damn details?

I'm not thrilled by the way this is going, but how is this different from paying $10-$15 for a Collector's Edition? I mean, you're not getting a plastic Pip Boy or anything, but half the benefit of a Collector's Edition is in-game items. At least in this case it's in-game "items" that will actually be worth something a year from now, as opposed to a stupid magic ring that doesn't last the first 10 levels of an MMO.

As much as I am not 100% on this since I've yet to see a press release but I think the joke is on most of you, at least if you bought the non CE version because I went back and looked at what comes with the CE version.

What a fucking rip off. DOA 4 had tons of costumes when you unlocked them. Im not buying this game anymore. Its going to charge people who like unlocking items like costumes when they supposed to be free like DOA 4. FUCK THEM.

Agree with everyone else here, this is BS. I'm boycotting any first day DLC that we all know is just a scheme to try and get more out of the consumer. I really hate the way this DLC is going, especially since we are now in very troubled financial times.
Capcom, if you think you are going to capitalize on the popularity of SF4 with some DLC that is clearly there just for money... you really have another thing coming.

Damnit...I want those costumes. But $3.99 each?!?! I agree with everyone else...put them in the damn game. I'm already buying your Arcade Stick and Fight Pads please give me the costumes.

So... now I have to pay more money, its bad enough games are 60+ nowadays, now i gotta pay for my subscription to live as well, but oh no, if I want to change my costume, I can no longer press B instead of A or Start, I have to pay money for them.


Sry, I'm not fine with this idea, it's these kids nowadays that give in to the corporate BS of instant gratification that is ruining gaming for us old schoolers.

When I spent 50 bucks on my SNES SFII I knew what I was getting. I mean, so what's the reasoning?

"Oh well we have better graphics and online play, so you should buy some DLC too"

I mean, that shit is expected. You're suppose to stay in the business of technology if you want to remain up to par with other companies, but why have silly shit like this be DLC?

They really should have included this in the game itself, that Zangief - Haggar costume is fucking win
