I don't know, give it a chance, because to me, it seems like DICE is really doing a great job with this series, Mirrors Edge, etc.
This game looks fantastic, a total surprise and has me really looking forward to something.

I think I speak for a good chunk of gamers when I say we hope they make each version specific to its strengths. In other words, please don't consolize the PC version with stupid design decisions, DICE.
Now get us info on BF3 - the game we all really want - please and thanks. ;)

Is it too much to ask for a disk?

What about the XBLA size limit? It doesn't exist anymore or are they letting EA bypass that rule because of a PSN version?

Great destruction, shadowing, lighting, colours and incredible sound. Seems like this is 1942 with the BC engine, hell yeaaaaah
only disappointment is the player cap but I can deal with that :D

24 player only? That's lame, and if EA hosts the servers -- say goodbye to custom maps and mods really.
The more I think about it, the more it sounds like (to me anyway) that they are developing it for consoles and will give us a port to PC. :(
Like the rest of you, I've been wanting this game pretty much forever now, well that and BF3, and while it looks amazing, I just see EA fucking this one up for us PC gamers... I hope I'm wrong, but I'm surprised I'm the only one really noticing these things...

When I last played BF2 I kept trying to destroy the walls of buildings and ram through fences with my tank to no avail. I even tried mowing down trees for the sake of it like I always did. Bad Company really spoiled me with it. The game looks great too, I hope they have great sound effects that BFBC had as well, they were the best IMO in 2008. I'm surprised people don't see the improvements at all.

All of my gaming is done on my 360 these days, but BF1942 on PC was the bees knees and I can't imagine any other way to play it.
