R-Type Dimensions Hits Xbox 360 This Week

This Wednesday will see the release of Tozai Games' R-Type Dimensions through the Xbox 360's online Xbox Live Arcade platform, publisher Microsoft has announced.

Priced at 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), Dimensions contains Irem's classic arcade shooters R-Type I and R-Type II, complete with original and redone 3D graphics.

The title will also feature online cooperative multiplayer for both games, and a new "Infinite" mode said to assure "the completion of your game regardless of skill level."

Uh. Guys, this is $15 for two games, with new graphics, and cooperative mode added (plus a new easy mode). IMO it's more than worth the price.
