Killzone 2 Demo Debuts Thursday
by Chris Faylor, Feb 02, 2009 9:23am PSTThe downloadable demo for Guerrilla Games' much-hyped PlayStation 3 first-person shooter Killzone 2 will hit both the North American and European PlayStation Stores this Thursday, February 5, according to Sony Computer Entertainment UK.
Though the North American demo will be limited to those that pre-ordered the game from GameStop, the European demo will be available to the public, presumably including those in North America that make a European PlayStation Store account.
The demo will contain a tutorial, as well as two parts of the game's first stage, Sony Computer Entertainment informed Joystiq alongside confirmation of the release.
For those that in North America don't feel like dealing with the hassle of creating another PlayStation Store account, the North American PlayStation Store will provide public access to the demo on February 26, one day before the shooter lands in stores.

Be lucky that there's even a demo coming AT ALL if you are still in doubt about the game.

Killzone 2 has an excellent gameplay. If you like to take the First Person Shooter gaming to a new level, Killzone 2 is definitely the way to go. With excellent graphics and multiple control configurations, not to mention good Voice Over support during online play, you couldn't ask for a better game. Unlike previous First Person Shooter games where you can play online, this game lets you host a match and keep players that are close to your online rank and prevent the over experienced players from taking advantage or keep the new players from being slaughtered in an experienced player's game. Guerrilla, or should I say, Sony Computer Entertainment, have completely outdone themselves for the Killzone series. I can't wait to check out the campaign. But don't take my word for it, try the game yourselves. I highly doubt you will regret it.
and this one:
"This has got to be one of the best shooters of all time. The game hasnt even come out and already all you see are positive reviews. Killzone 2 is already a favorite to win Game of the Year and I think best game ever. This is just what PS3 needs to put it over the top. The graphics look amazing which is just one of the reasons why Killzone 2 is going to be awsome. I already reserved it at gamestop so I can play the demo on Feb, 5th. You should reserve it to don't thimk about it just do it."
"don't think about it, just do it".
Right.
Lets forget ethics for a moment and say you've decided to be a PR hack for a major publisher and you are going to plant a few "opinion" pieces. At the VERY least, wouldn't write up copy that emulates the way people talk? NO ONE TALKS LIKE THIS. NO ONE.
I don't think I could do anything like this for a living. It seems your job is simply to insult the intelligence of your customer base which is like playing Russian roulette IMO.
Excuse me now while I go take a long, cleansing shower.......
