You know what I dislike about the Shacknews screenshots section? There's no link back to the original article you were reading.

The current NXE is still a pile of shit, whenever I need the first time for something I spend way too long looking for it.

the one thing that still pisses me off about NXE, is the absolutely shitty way that it lists your mp3's via network connection.

absolutely atrocious.

youd think they would actually have some shortcuts in the way it browses... at least give me a goddamn alphabet letter to skip to, instead of trying to just find shit in a giant ass list.

all of these seem to assume the player has a huge display to play on...

current NXE looks pretty but its still hard to find what you want, especially the first time I used it

Icons beside the names would help instead of just text (My Xbox with an Xbox 360 Icon beside it, friends list something like MSN icon) and ability to have My Xbox as default starting page instead of Inside Xbox or that advertising line.

Marketplace should have launched a website like application that resembles the xbox 360 website interface instead of flipping through 3D panels to find stuff

I read a discussion over at neogaf where someone mentioned how he worked at Superstore and nothing is properly laid out there and he mentioned this to some higher ups and they apparently said thats how they want it because people stumble on things they might not have wanted to buy and....buy that as well...I'm guessing this is the approach on 360 as well?

NXE is a mess. I really don't like it.

i really like 3 of 5. the one now is ok but it's so bulky and fucking slow. it freezes up my xbox when it's logging onto live as it signs me on, checks my friends list and downloads game covers for all of the menus :(

This looks worse than the one we have now. I'm glad they abandoned this.

I still wish the NXE didn't include a massive half-circle that covers 50% of the screen or change all previously widescreen themes to stretched "full screen." It ooks terrible.

looks quite good to me, its interesting to see the whole avatar and party ideas were obviously established early
