Boom Blox Sequel Announced
by Nick Breckon, Jan 29, 2009 12:38am PSTElectronic Arts today announced Boom Blox Bash Party, a sequel to the Steven Spielberg-produced, Jenga-esque Wii party game.
According to a release, the Bash Party will feature new multiplayer modes and over 400 fresh levels. The game will also allow players to download both EA and user-created levels.
"We know families and friends really enjoyed playing the original 'Boom Blox' together, so we designed more explosive multiplayer experiences with 'Boom Blox Bash Party'," said Spielberg, who enthusiastically described the series as a "wild social gaming experience."
Boom Blox Bash Party will hit the Wii this spring.

Boom Blox is one of the best Wii games out there! It meet my criteria for being a great wii game: (1) it's just fun (2) graphics are decent (good enough for what the game it about) (3) it makes good use of motion control. Lots of level provide hours of enjoyment!
As a note, if Bash Party has over 400 levels, this means it is about twice as many as Boom Blox.
