The Sims 3 Facing Delay

7
Though The Sims 3 was initially set to ship on February 20, publisher Electronic Arts tells Edge that it's "evaluating the launch window," suggesting a possible delay.

The official UK site for the anticipated PC lifestyle simulation sequel now lists a "TBA" release date, with the official US site promising that it's "coming in 2009."

While retailer listings are often an indication of a delay, online retailer Amazon.com shows both versions arriving during the week of February 15, with GameStop and Best Buy likewise indicating a North American release in the days following February 20.

I've got a huge feeling this will suck.

The graphics don't look too hot either.

yeah, it sure doesn't look up to snuff, but maybe because they are still targeting a wide demographic of machines and don't want to go all Crysis on them.

Besides the graphics I still have never figured out the long-term addiction to this franchise.

You'd think they'd get around to making a half-decent IG soultion by now.

I think the graphics were kept down since they decided to make the entire neighborhood one realtime simville now. Why people like it is various though. Some of us just burn out our hate in humanity by enclosing our sims in walls and such.
