Street Fighter 4 Trailer: Another of Those Artsy Ones

Capcom has released another fancy CG Street Fighter IV trailer. This one has an especially large number of fireball punches.

Street Fighter 4 will be released February 17 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with a PC release following later.

Man, to me Akuma is one of the coolest characters in video games. He's been a lot time inspiration for drawing muscley dudes when I can't think of anything else to draw.

I hope the sound design from the trailer is indicative of what to expect from the game. This was one of the aspects that disappointed me most about the later iterations of the Street Fighter 2 games. For instance Guile originally yelled "sonic boom" in a throaty baritone followed by an actual sonic boom sound, but in Super Street Fighter 2...well it just sounded a bit weaker. I'm sure not many people had a problem with this, but I do hope they return to a sound design that depicts how powerful these fighters are supposed to be.
