New Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena Trailer

Atari sends along a "Desperation" trailer for The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, Starbreeze's next-gen update of the 2004 action game The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.

The trailer shows brief flashes of cinematic and gameplay footage from the game, which will be released for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this spring featuring plenty of new content and features.

I'd like to say it looked cool but the way they constantly showed 2 seconds of footage then cut to a new set of footage is a bit disorientating.

I've never played the original, but I heard good things about it. I'm also a little confused. Are they changing anything about the original, or are they simply tacking-on the new, separate missions?
