Max Payne 2 Mod Adds Five Impressive Levels
by Nick Breckon, Jan 19, 2009 10:10pm PSTWe aren't in the habit of singling out mods around here, but Mona: The Assassin is notable for several reasons.
First, it's a professional, five-level mod for Max Payne 2. How many of those have been released lately? And I think we can all agree that Max Payne 2 is still pretty awesome.
Second, it was founded by Mikael Kasurinen, a lead game designer at Remedy--the developers of the Max Payne series. 7th Serpent modder Clement "Corwin" Melendez and talented Shacker Diego "Aavenr" Jimenez aided in development.
Lastly, it's pretty well done, and definitely worth a download. Grab it on FileShack. And thanks to dognose for the heads up.

Not too fond of infinite enemy spawns, though. The final fight was pretty cool.
Payne needs to bring some kung fu to the table, just like the Matrix mod for MP1 did.

I just bought MP1, MP2 and the rest of the Rockstar games on STEAM a few months ago for something like $30,00 now I'll have to give this a try!
It's funny how I've bought many many games I already owned just for the convienence of having them on Steam.
