Seaman DS in the Works, Seaman iPhone on Hold Due to Apple Objections?

According to a rough translation of Seaman creator Yoot Saito's blog by Offworld, a Nintendo DS version of the classic, disturbing Dreamcast game Seaman appears to currently be in development.

Seaman is a virtual pet-style game centered around a fish with a human-like face. The original game took advantage of the Dreamcast's microphone support by allowing user interaction with the often-surly Seaman.

The blog post also suggests that the already-announced iPhone version of Seaman 2, Gabo, has been finished for some time. The reason for its delay? Apple has "expressed displeasure" with the unique gameplay.

Similar to Seaman, Gabo allows users to communicate with and pester a tiny Peking Man character. Look below for a glimpse of the Apple-displeasing game.
