Atlus Porting Original Persona to PSP?

The first title in Atlus' Persona series of RPG games could be heading to the PSP, according to a report by Play.Online.

The most recent issue of Hong Kong magazine GameWave apparently claims that Revelations: Persona is being ported to the PSP in Japan. Atlus has not yet confirmed or denied the rumor.

Revelations: Persona was released on the PlayStation in 1996. The game centers around a group of high schoolers that battle demons using magical Personae.

The Persona series has since gone on to spawn numerous sequels, including last month's Persona 4.

It would be so awesome if they brought this over to the US. So much of the game was changed in the original port.
