Call of Juarez Prequel-Sequel Announced

A sequel to Techland's spaghetti western-inspired first-person shooter Call of Juarez will be released for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 later this year, publisher Ubisoft has revealed.

Titled Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, the game takes place before the original, with Techland once again developing. Locations vary from "a ravaged Civil War-era Georgia to the Aztec ruins of Mexico," with Ubisoft promising "the wildest West ever depicted." A render of the game, above, was also released.

The announcement further specified that "players can embody both McCall brothers" across the story, suggesting the possibility of a co-op campaign.

The original, which hit PC in 2006 and Xbox 360 in 2007, featured competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes, but did not allow co-op play of the main campaign.

Nice! Let's hope that they don't put any lame stealth missions into this one this time around.

Agreed. All the levels where you played as revrand Ray were awesome, the sneaking ones were mediocre at best.
