Mirror's Edge DLC Gets Release Date

The PC version of Mirror's Edge heads off to North American retailers today, and in celebration, publisher EA confirmed the release date for the game's upcoming DLC.

Priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10), the Time Trial downloadable content will be available for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers on January 29. The download adds seven maps and nine race to the DICE-developed first-person parkour game.

The company had previously promised that PlayStation 3 owners would gain an exclusive free map, though made no mention of that content in today's announcement.

Chris Faylor was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.

Bah, fun maps. But I guess it makes sense instead of making realistic maps without a story.

i think it'd still be fun to run and jump around a city, i mean...that's what real parkour is about..

i think itd be better to have realistic maps without a story since parkour is about doing that shit around urban environments not super mario floating blocks
