Dead Space Added to Steam

EA Redwood's spooky shooter Dead Space has gone live on Valve's Steam distribution platform.

The game sells for $49.99. Though no PC demo exists, a console demo can be found on the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live Marketplace.

          Ran into this all last night. Rebuilt a harddrive and wasn't able to get the updates to get playing again. Hopefully all will be well by tonight.

        I fully agree. why on earth would they make a great looking thing so 3rd person shitey. Hate 'em. The only game that works with 3rd person is friggin GTA.

          A lot of good games do 3rd person and it works great. This game worked well with third person because of the idea that your character moves slowly. It creates uneasiness as opposed to most horror games that just limit your abilities/weapons to create that feeling. First person wouldn't have felt right in this game.
