Prototype Video Blowout: New Gameplay Footage, Trailer of Radical's Bloody Open-world Action Game
by Nick Breckon, Jan 08, 2009 1:45pm PSTRadical Entertainment, the developers of The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, have laid bare their new title Prototype in three lengthy videos.
Prototype puts players into the role of a "genetically mutated shape-shifter," with parkour-like freerunning skills and the ability to disguise himself as his enemies, gaining their powers.
The single-player game is scheduled for release this summer on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I did that with GTA: SA and it worked out rather well.
Furthermore this is a 39.99 buy for me. It's not worth the 59.99 or 49.99 that it will retail for. Once it hits 39.99 then I feel it's a worthy purchase as I'll get bored of it when the next "OOH SHINEY BOOMS!" comes along.

christ, it's basically that game + gibs + hijacking vehicles. it's gonna be great.
But as Yahtzee said "It's better to just assume something is shit until it proves itself otherwise."

The ability to disguise yourself is really interesting though... in a game like this I wasn't expecting that. I hope they actually do something with that instead of making it the equivalent of a spray and paint way to reduce your stars.
