Blizzard Gets Democratic with StarCraft 2 Unit Vote

Neither one of these really excite me, though I prefer the second. I was playing some Lich King over lunch and I saw some incredible art that just makes these seem terribly meh.

Why not include both for diversity? I guess it would hurt the performances though.

I think they should ditch the bulky models they've been designing since WC3, and do something with limbs a reasonable diameter. They take up too much space, the proportions are retarded, and it nearly ruined WC3 for me. I love sharp edges. Especially on vehicles. The current direction looks like children's toys.

C&C did it, and it looks so much sexier.

Too bad they'll never change it, and my voice is completely useless.

Would be funny if fans gathered together and made it a three way tie, that would get Blizzard to do their job instead of posting no news about the game.

Yeah, both suck. One looks like a fancy Zealot and the other looks like a FFX knock off with the twin reaper. Make a dark witch like character with psi-blades 2.5x times longer then they should be and look like they seethe with hatred and I'll be happy. Unfortunately, creativity no longer seems to be in Blizzards box of goodies. That description is pretty much what the original Concept Art for a Dark Templar looked like for SC.

Seriously. When game companies start asking people to pick out their models for them, it's never a good sign. I'm all for fan input, but not when it comes down to two crappy choices that they could easily make for themselves.

This is just a PR stunt to raise interest in the game which is bland for all those who aren't fanboys. I will appreciate SC2, but it's nothing I'm actually on the edge of my seat looking forward to based on the gameplay trailers I've seen.

One on the right looks too much like the halo elites, one on the left looks like a goofy blue mage. I vote they combine them.

I like the one on the left, but I like the 3rd option best.
