Sony issued a press release for the Blu-ray earlier in the day--caught by Joystiq--which read, "The simultaneous [June 16] launch of Ghostbusters: The Video Game, the highly anticipated videogame from Atari, celebrates the film's 25th anniversary." Ghostbusters is being developed for PC, PS3 and X360 by Terminal Reality, with Red Fly Studios handling the PS2, Wii and Nintendo DS editions.

The game will feature the voice work of all four original Ghostbuster actors, and was scripted by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis.
