Capcom Details Street Fighter 4 Collector's Edition

Capcom today revealed the contents of the massive $79.99 Street Fighter IV Collector's Edition, set for release on February 17.

Left, the PlayStation 3 version of the CE. Right, the Xbox 360 flavor.

The package will include a 65-minute anime movie and a limited-edition figurine, among other various items. The full Capcom list follows:

The game (duh)
A limited-edition (ie., not sold anywhere else) figurine -- Ryu in the PS3 box, C. Viper hotness in the 360 flavor. Decisions, decisions...
Street Fighter IV: The Ties That Bind: a 65 minute anime movie -- created by Studio 4C -- that sets up the story of SFIV by explaining events post-SFII. BluRay disc in the PS3 box! The Xbox version is a 360 game disc that outputs the movie at 720P, not a DVD.
A mini-strategy guide from Prima, written by the same people doing the full-on guide and illustrated by Udon Comics
CD soundtrack. Rock SFIV stage chunez in your car!
Plus some secret additional downloadable content that we're not quite ready to reveal at this point. Look for more announcements soon!

i know i'm in the minority here, but i couldn't stand this game since the year it came out, ages ago. i don't think i'd play it for more than a minute even if i got a free copy.

guess i'm just not into those side to side fighting games. even the wii one with all the nintendo characters bored me to tears.

Not sure which version I'll get. Its generally easier to get my X-Arcade to work on my PS3...but I can get it working on my 360 as well (XFPS360 adapter using the Playstation port and the X-Arcade PSX/PS2 adapter). Its always a tricky call with this stuff, as I can't get broadband out here thats suitable for gaming (I have satellite...latency is 1000ms+ generally...500ms is around the lowest physically possible until we get rid of that pesky relativity thing), I have all three current gaming systems (plus a DC hooked up, a very nice PC that runs everything, and both portable systems (plus a GP2X)...not to mention quite a few older systems in storage)...etc. Unless there's some major difference between the two I'll probably go PS3 simply because its easier to hook up my joystick (less wires) and its less time my 360 has slowly going towards some dreaded RROD.

I'll probably also get the PC version eventually, if nothing else but to support the PC platform. And I can actually play PC games online with my laptop around pulbic access wireless points (like the one at the local firing range/gun shop/diner that I frequent when I feel like some shooting targets and some playing COD4 online).

I'd probably buy it for the 360 version if there was a decent ps2 to 360 adapter available as I already have 2 ps2 real arcade pro stick. Unless someone makes one, I am getting the ps3 version.

so does this mean the bluray is a 1080p version of the anime or a 720p on a BD? what about the game itself? i think so far this game looks damn good and knowing which version looks better would def effect my decision. I'd hate to have to base my choice on the gay looking figurines.

As an FYI, Gamestop listings for the CE describe the DLC as extra costumes. Not much of a loss there.
