How does this run on a machine with minimum spec? Is it still playable?

Anyone have a link to a shacker post that basically listed all the essential mods/tweaks to get for this game? I remember it, but can't find it : (

They should have made Fallout 3 using this engine. I am getting silky smooth framerates at 1680x1050 and the open world graphics are amazing. FO3 is a little clunky even at 960x600.

For fuck's sake! I previously had to buy Left 4 Dead using PayPal because Valve have decided that people should not be able to use their credit card if they are not in the same country they registered the card in. Now, in all their fucking wisdom PayPal is the same.

That's twice I've missed out on a special deal because Steam is a pile of shit. Last time I tried to buy Sam and Max series 1 for $15 but for some unspecified reason it wouldn't let me, although I was able to go through to the Paypal purchase screen that time, the purchase would not complete.

I really like Steam, but the problems with billing are driving me fucking mental. Now I know I will have to go and spend ages fucking around trying to get a Japanese credit card (not too trivial for foreigners and probably not awesomely easy for anyone now the economy is messed up) before I can buy any more games, and there are a lot of games I want to buy >:(

Jesus fucking christ. It's like refusing someone entry into a shop because they are on holiday or something. Sorry, no tourists in here! What the fuck am I meant to do, Valve? Do I need to get a friend to gift me a copy of a game each time I want to buy? Do I need to call my mum and get her to send me a boxed copy? God, I hate how the internet's inherent advantages are being eroded by bullshit like this.

Picked this up off of Steam last night for $5. I think this game world is amazing. I liked it so much I'm on the prowl on eBay and Amazon for a cheap good copy. I want to own my games not rent them which is what I feel like I'm doing when I'm playing then off of Steam. Probably going to be the last thing I buy from there. Oh well, you live you learn.

£3.49 for the UKers. You'd be mad not to buy it at that price.

This is a must buy at $40, let alone $5.
I recently finished it, after having bought it at release. That says a lot, because I don''t finish most games especially after I have moved on to other newer releases. But I kept coming back due to the creepy atmosphere and good story. Plus, it is the only game that actually made me jump in my seat.
I know people talk about flaws, and I'm sure there are some because all games have them, but nothing really comes to mind for me.
If you haven't played it, do yourself a favor at $5.

I'd rather have the boxed copy. Clear sky runs like poo on steam, not sure if it's steam or the updates they did to the engine were too much for my PC.

Thanks for the heads up on this deal, I was in on the beta early on but had horrible luck getting it to be stable for me and eventually gave up. I've never played the retail version so I have to pick this up.

Anyone who buys this should immediately get the Oblivion Lost mod and play it from the start. OL makes the game soooo much better.
