PlayStation Store Update: Santa Beards, Penny Arcade, Castlevania

This week's PlayStation Store update has gone live, making available the long-awaited free Santa costume for LittleBigPlanet, as well as the festive holiday level pack for $2.99.

Downloadable game highlights include the side-scrolling action platformer Crash Commando ($9.99), and the RPG Penny Arcade Adventures: On The Rainslick Precipice Of Darkness: Episode 2 ($14.99).

Castlevania Chronicles ($5.99) and Rayman 2: The Great Escape ($5.99) are also available for download, and can be played on either the PlayStation 3 or the PSP.

Finally, a pair of PS3 demos were added: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Online Network Demo, and the Sonic Unleashed Demo.

I cannot believe the severe drought of PSN games, where are all the unique games made just for the PS3. It gets games the LIVE got months ago, and its boring already. HOME sucks, most of the PSN games suck, the big highlight for me is a game called Savage Moon that I believe comes out next week. That will probably be it for the next 6 months.
