Red Alert 3 Expansion Coming in 2009?
by Nick Breckon, Dec 17, 2008 3:51pm PSTThough declining to confirm reports of an impending Red Alert 3 expansion, publisher Electronic Arts now says that more information on the matter will be released in 2009.
"We will have more information in the New Year," said EA on the subject in response to Eurogamer.
French gaming site Jeuxvideo reported yesterday that an expansion to Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 titled Uprising was in development at EA Los Angeles.
While the Xbox 360 version of Red Alert 3 did not find a place on the console sales charts, the game debuted at #2 on the weekly PC sales chart behind Fallout 3, and was the tenth-best selling PC game in both October and November.
A PlayStation 3 version of the game, put on hold in June, was recently re-announced.
