Square Enix announced today that the promised PC version of its new role-playing series The Last Remnant will hit North America and Europe in spring 2009.

The PC release will pack new features over the Xbox 360 version, which arrived on November 20. However, details on those new aspects were not provided.

The Last Remnant is also slated to hit PlayStation 3 at some point in the future.

I have it, and love it. It's not the best JRPG, but it does have a fun combat system. Though you MUST install this to HD to play it at all.
