Dante's Inferno Teaser Trailer Arrives

Following the official announcement of Dante's Inferno last night, Electronic Arts has released the first teaser for the action game based off The Divine Comedy, the well-known 14th century poetic exploration of hell and its layers by Dante Alighieri.

No platforms have been announced for the project, which is being helmed by Dead Space developer EA Redwood Shores, but the game will arrive sometime next year.

I'm going to guess that this isn't a Dungeon Keeper type game where you have to figure out how to defeat a series of heroes. 'Cause the world needs more Dungeon Keeper type games (not MMO).

I want to see a trailer where Dante falls on his knees and screams, "Have pity on me!"

Then, Virgil steps out of the darkness with a minigun strapped to his torso says, "Pity? Hell knows no Pity!" He then proceeds to rip into a hell-wasp with a stream of bullets.
