Now available for 800 Microsoft Points ($10) on the Xbox Live Marketplace is the Combustible Map Pack for Gears of War 2 (X360).

As noted last night, the DLC offers three new multiplayer maps: Flood, Gold Rush, and Fuel Station. Here's a trailer:

3 maps for $10! I'll pass... with 3,187,025 copies of GOW2 sold already, I imagine they'll make at least $10,000,000 within the first week. Wish I could make that much for one, if not two, weeks of work.

    You think these levels are built from scratch? copy paste of existing maps, models and meshes with a few new brushes.

  while I don't agree with your reasoning for it, I do agree that $10 is quite a lot for 3 maps. But then again how many have shelled out the same for halo 3 maps... I guess I have.

  how many weeks to make the original models, how many weeks to designhow many weeks to make the tools, how many weeks to test, they have invested huge costs in making this game, not that they won't make a profit, but its not like $10mil for $10k worth of work.

    all those original models and stuff cannot be used in this instance. We already paid for that with our $60 bucks per copy. 3 more maps that shoulda been free to begin with? Yes $10 is too much. I'd rather get Bionic Commando... or spend $5 more and get a whole new game(Super Streetfighter Turbo:HR)
