Some new Diablo 3 screenshots emerged from developer Blizzard today, showing off a number of sparkly attacks and ominious environments.

There's no word as to when action-RPG sequel will see its long-awaited PC release, but rest assured, it's coming.

I'm still wondering why Blizzard is the only dev to actually get random worlds to build on demand. There are a few good Diabloish type games out there, but none do the random thing that makes Diablo 2, etc so re-playable.

- I enjoy the huge, non-random map of Sacred 2 etc. : Vantage

I wonder what the game's pacing will be. Diablo 2 was pretty turbo. I'd appreciate some slower, more deliberate progression, along with more challenging and complex enemies over huge numbers and dramatic miniboss/boss fights that require more tactics than just damage spam and dodge the charged bolts.

I think especially co-op would be more interesting in the long run that way. A true team working together to best dangers instead of a detached squad of Rambos.
