Morning Discussion

First, I wake up to a snow-covered winter wonderland and blue skies, which are much nicer than the grey overcast and its soggy "don't worry, I'll only freeze at night" rain.

What's the next step for Sony? It seems like they cannot afford to drop the price of their console otherwise they would have done it already. I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a new console at TGS 2009 or E3 2010 to arrive in late 2010 or early 2011. Maybe a slightly upgraded PS3 (think GC -> Wii) with a new controller and smaller form factor?
