First, I wake up to a snow-covered winter wonderland and blue skies, which are much nicer than the grey overcast and its soggy "don't worry, I'll only freeze at night" rain.
And then, Tim Schafer's latest, Brutal Legends, finally gets a new publisher.
Plus we get the first in-game footage of BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic today.
In conclusion, Fri-to-the-day knows what is up. Let's keep the good times coming, eh?

What's the next step for Sony? It seems like they cannot afford to drop the price of their console otherwise they would have done it already. I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a new console at TGS 2009 or E3 2010 to arrive in late 2010 or early 2011. Maybe a slightly upgraded PS3 (think GC -> Wii) with a new controller and smaller form factor?

You go into a Walmart and you see a Microwave front and center in the middle of the aisle for $20. This makes the consumer shopping for a microwave think, "If they have $20 microwaves then the other ones that are better must be cheap too!" In most cases when they go to get the better model the Walmart price is the same if not more than their competitors.
The same can be said for the 360 with the Arcade model setting a low introductory price. It helps even more that the PS3's lowest price is more than the Pro 360.
