Gothic Veterans Bringing Risen to Xbox 360, First Screenshots Released
by Chris Faylor, Dec 10, 2008 10:03am PSTRisen, the next game from Piranha Bytes, will hit Xbox 360 in addition to the PC, reports TeamXbox. Alongside the news, the first in-game screenshots were released.
Much like Piranha Byte's previous work on the first three Gothic games--the recent Gothic 3 expansion and eventual Gothic 4 are being handled by different developers--Risen is described as a mature action-RPG. Set on a medieval Mediterranean island, the game will pack four chapters and "full world streaming."
Formerly known as Project RPB, Risen is slated to arrive at some point in 2009.

- The screens are two weeks old and WIP.
- Piranha Bytes has external help for the Xbox version.
