MotorStorm Sequel Races Past One Million Sales

Evolution Studios' racing sequel MotorStorm: Pacific Rift has recorded over one million sales worldwide, according to Sony Worldwide Studios Europe chief Michael Denny.

Pacific Rift was released on October 28 in North America--too late in the month for its sales to make an impact on the October list of sales tracker NPD. November sales data has not yet been released. "We're pleased with the high Metacritic rating of 82 per cent and it's sold over a million units worldwide," said Denny to GamesIndustry.biz.

Evolution is producing a truckload of downloadable content for the title, much of which will be free. The content is set to be released on a weekly basis.

I'd like to get this but hate spending $60 on a game. I'm to used to PC game prices and sales soon following a games release.

Gamefly ftw. I've played about 5 or 6 games that I otherwise wouldn't of bought.
