Warner Bros. has issued a new trailer from Rocksteady's comic-inspired action game Batman: Arkham Asylum that shows some in-game action instead of empty environments. The trailer will also be on The Dark Knight DVD, due tomorrow.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is slated to hit PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 at some point in 2009.

but not as you are playing footage. Always doubt a game that doesn't show actual gameplay before release. As much as I want this to kick ass, these kinds of things keep me wary.

Probably because gameplay isn't even d one yet, everything can still be up to change and they don't want to show something that isn't even going to be in the final build =P

i read a long article about the game accompanied by screenshots and I was under the impression that the cutscenes would at least be done with in-game assets(like GTA), it's been awhile but I was also thinking that they might possibly be like the HL cutscenes allowing for user interaction. Or maybe that was just my wishful thinking. Apart from watching my friend attempt to teabag Alyx when she was laying hurt on the table I think that being able to change your view and walk around in the cutscene really helps the immersion factor.
