1I've been called a cold-hearted individual, but even I felt a tinge of warmth creeping through my veins after watching this video of amateur game developer Foszor and his son Aidan "playing" Left 4 Dead.
With a few appropriate post-processing effects, a simple home movie became a charming, hilarious parody of Valve's shooter.

Oh, and it's ok for a kid this age to watch Buggs and Daffy and all the old cartoons that are fairly mega violent with Elmer shooting people in the face with a shotgun!
This isn't like letting your kid was Saw in a movie theater with you at 4, and I've seen that more than once.
This is a father/son bonding moment and the kid will take more from that than "Hey I'm shooting people".
I bet half of you were playing Doom or Duke/insert the mature game of your choice at 6, anyway! :)

EVERY DAY an average of 4 kids are killed due to abuse they received from their own parents. ( http://www.childhelp.org/resources/learning-center/statistics ), yet I can’t find a single piece of evidence of a kid getting killed or hurt, or hurting anyone else because he played "shoot the zombies" with his dad.
I applaud this man for finding creative and fun ways to bond with his child, and if you honestly think the kid is going to end up shooting someone or being scarred for life because of this, well…. I feel sorry for your kids then.
Lighten up people, the world has way bigger problems than this. Focus your anger on something that actually matters.
My parents took me to see Dawn of the Dead at the drive in when I was 7. Thats right 7 years old. I never had a nightmare, I never had an issue figuring out what was real and what wasn't and I didn't turn out to be a murderous psycho when I grew up.
I wouldn't let my 8 year old boys play Left 4 Dead but I doubt it would scar them.
