To recap:

50 Cent plays a benefit concert in the Middle East. The promoter, possibly not realizing that 50 does not understand the concept of a benefit, attempts to stiff 50, but comes to an agreement (by force, one would assume) and offers a diamond encrusted skull in payment for 50's appearance at the benefit.

Unfortunately, the skull appears to be important to some of the locals, who steal it from our heroes.

Now 50 and crew must murder hordes of Arabs in order to regain the diamond encrusted skull that is rightfully theirs. Or arguably not rightfully theirs, if you're the Arabs.

There's more creativity in the setup for this game than there was in the entirety of Bioshock. It's so dumb it comes back around the other side and becomes smart.

This game looks like a cross between "The Club" and "Army of Two"... both of which were mediocre at best with little replay value and terrible multiplayer.

I'm not going to suggest I was ever holding out hope for this to be anything more than a mediocre title.

I can't believe there was ever a question about this game getting published. This has to be the most incredible thing I have ever witnessed. I can BE Fiddy! Fiddy shooting up the Muslin world lookin for his "Stuff"! And wow that soundtrack was absolutely amazing the way it brought the action to life. Oh and exploding barrels. Can't go wrong with those. Maybe have every bad guy stand on one.

I honestly think it looks more fun than 90% of the games out there. At least, the trailer is.

Anyway, I'm not a 50 cent fanboy, but I do have a few of his songs on my playlist and I enjoy listening to them once in a while.

Self indulgent generic fodder which will probably sell millions alas. The actual gameplay looks like it might hit the heights of mediocity which would exceed my expectations if they can pull off an OTT Saints Row 2 type of feel.

Though a strange part of me wants to see it get 10/10s across the board just to watch the Internet explode in a orgy of pure 100% rage. :)
