And a good morning to each and every one of you. Had a good weekend?

Mine was filled with hours of Fable 2. Unless the storyline goes horrendously bad during the last part, this will be my Game of the Year.By far more fun than anything I've played this year, and I don't look forward to completing it at all. I'm just doing side-quests now to avoid having to advance the main story for the time being. Though a bit buggy (I've played half the game with a furniture upgrade message at the top of my screen), its just so incredibly charming and funny - though I can see it doing nothing for other people because some elements are probably a bit of an acquired taste. Unless its just horse armor, I will buy every bit of DLC they release for this game.

I really think that Dahanese needs to get with the program and make me a Civ Rev premium theme for the new 360 dash. It should either be all Catherine or a Catherine and Cleopatra combo. Third choice would probably be for an "Death of Isabella" theme.

I'd also like to see a Fallout 3 one so lplasmatron please get on that today. k thx

I'd like some friends.

Look, all my RL friends play WoW, and some of my friends play other PC games.

On the console side, I have NO ONE that plays console games on a regular basis, and there's nobody on Xbox LIve that I know beyond one or two people, and they play Madden and such. I am one of those guys who can't stand sports games. I'll play freaking Nancy Drew before I play Madden.

I even experienced the ultimate betrayal, when one of my formerly game-console-less buddies from college asked me what console to get, and I told him 360, and he went PS3. I don't think he even realizes there's a port in the back for an ethernet cable. To think I was in his wedding party...

Throw out your Xbox LIve ID or invite me to whatever Shacker enclave (Fallout!) there might be. Please.

Years ago, I read a wonderful Peter Straub horror novel called Shadowlands, and in it, a character sings
"We got FISH for suppah! First one THING then anothah!

and on and on like that. I thought it was a old song but never heard anything like it since and have long wondered about it, and eventually decided it was something Straub made up. Now, I am reading the new book of Stephen King stories, and in the first story, "Willa", a character repeatedly yells "“We got fish for supper! First one t’ing an’ den anudder!"

Any of you ever heard this outside of these stories? A google search, using quotes, leads only to the King story. Do you think that King just used in homage to Straub, with whom he has worked?

I just started playing Disgaea DS and it's addicting as hell. I've never played any of the previous games before (though I guess this one is just a remake of the original?) so I don't really know what I'm doing or should do. Any tips or suggestions? Like how can I easily tell if a weapon is good at the shop? They change all the time...

Best way to kill Super Mutant Brutes in Fallout3? I'm only a lvl 9 and I keep running out of "good" ammo. I found a shit load of mini nukes up to the point where I actually got the gun. Now I'm just throwing grenades, and shooting shot gun pellets. Maybe there's a place that I can pick up some cheap ammo?

just started playing dead space (PC) why do i feel so "unattached" to the controls (mouse sensitivity all the way up and didn't help, also using a mx515 with the adjustable DPI , doesn't help

guess ill just have to get used to it (aiming sucks so far and im usually a sharp shooter)

When I was a kid I thought the coolest part about being an adult is just being able to do whatever you wanted and not have to deal with things like curfews, bedtimes, and other restrictions on my being awesome. And being a full adult, I have to say that it is pretty great and delivered as expected. But it isn't the coolest thing.

I've learned the coolest thing is that your friends become professionals in the world. Now I've got friends that are doctors, lawyers, firemen, teachers, musicians, investors, CEOs etc. You get to learn about the details of cool professions and jobs and help each other out using skills from your various areas. It is the one thing that shows up in adulthood over and over to be the best aspect.

I say this as I feel like complete death today and my friend who is a doctor is coming by after he leaves the hospital to see why I am being such a pussy. I just need a friend now that plays in the NBA. I used to live down the hall from Chris Duhon, but never spoke to him.

so I was thinking about L4D, and how cool it would be when Valve releases new "Movies", if they were sequels to the previous maps? like No Mercy 2: Zombie Boogaloo, and it picks up from the chopper, which goes down on the other side of town or something... Or Death Toll 2: Caution, Bridge Out , you reach the open water, only to have the engine die, and then drift towards a huge tanker thats also adrift....

OR, the new 'movies' are a trilogy and each builds off the other, and has your group trying to find the source of the infection (maybe an evil genius?) or to find the cure....

I am loving the individual movies - it just struck me that they could really leverage the idea into episodic content about the L4D world and tell a bigger story than just one stand alone adventure for each movie.

Shack Hardware question.
I'm looking to do some holiday updates to my rig and I'm thinking of going with a gtx 260 and using my current 8800 as a PPU. That is if they ever release a game that takes advantage of this feature (I'm looking at you Empire: Total War) but i have a few questions before i pull the trigger, specifics in reply.
