So I bought L4D on PC and rented it on 360...

On 360, it just works. Voice chat for everyone, matchmaking, etc, but it doesn't look as nice and controls worse.

On PC, I have terrible sound clipping issues that cause frame-rate stutters, my mic doesn't work even though it shows levels in Windows, and the dedicated server finding isn't so great, but it looks so much better and I'm a zombie headshot god with the mouse+keyboard.

Why can't PC games just work :(

  as far as the mic, I know I had problems with steam games if it was plugged into the port on the back instead of the front of my pc... anything simple like that fix it for you?
