- Alternate melee attack animations like tackling with your shoulder instead of punching back the Infected all the time. Or using the rifle to push them back then follow up with a buttstroke. Kind of like a melee combo.

- Command system to control zombies as a Boomer, like spitting a ball that attracts a bunch of Zombies (like that gland from HL2).

- survival mode and maps. like max payne 2's last man standing. you will die, but you see how long you can survive the onslaught. time attack i guess.
- probably not as interesting as the default game, but a romero zombie mod where they shamble and lunge instead of run all over would be interesting. if there were more zombies scattered in levels and chokepoints and behind doorways + you can't sprint all the time + only headshots kill them. one bite and you are fucked type deal.
