Publisher THQ has deployed a trailer for Tales of Valor, the latest standalone expansion in the Company of Heroes series of strategy games. In the trailer players are given a peek at the new tactical control they will have over their units.

Tales of Valor plays nicely by being fully compatible with the original Company of Heroes and the previous Opposing Fronts expansion, and is expected in spring of next year.

        directed fire has always been in though, at least with mg squads for example

          No. Direct fire means your mouse controls the turret while the keyboard controls the movement. Right click is co-axial machine gun and left click is the cannon. Something like that. Now you just tell it weather to move or attack, that's it. I used to play Blitz a lot and sometimes it seems like the Tiger IS my whole army. That thing is awesome.
